Susan Howes
Susan Howes began her study of Tibetan Buddhism at Kopan Monastery in Nepal, with Lama Zopa and Lama Yeshe in 1977. She met Traleg Rinpoche after he came to Australia in 1980 and continued studying with Rinpoche until his untimely passing in 2012.
Susan’s postgraduate qualifications include Psycho oncology, and Grief Counseling and Interventions. She is a Fellow in Psychosocial cancer care at a major Melbourne hospital, the only palliative care nurse in an arena of psychiatrists and psychologists. She has recently retired to spend time working with Shogam Publications.
